I appreciate all your condolences. He was cremated, no special gathering. I will fly down to the San Fransisco in July then the 4 of us siblings will take his ashes to the place our Mom's are. Since my sister and her fiance are in the process of moving to Vallejo and their wedding is in July it made more sense then me paying for 2 trips. This way we will have some healing, and we can celebrate his life and my sisters new life. Kind of an Irish wake.


I love grand furs, we used to get the Noble for a Christmas tree, but wanted something with more scent, so now I can go out and have that smell all year long.

Does someone know what this plant is called? A neighbor gave me a section that sprouted roots of it's own and this is the first time it has bloomed. I was pleasantly surprised when was out taking pictures on Halloween and there were two purple flowers.
