Another of those unusual blooms on Blue/Purple shibori/flake I. purpurea. I think this bloom should be called "Lightning!" It looks like a streak of lightning across a dark blue evening sky. :-)

Karen - I like the light blue painted gate to your garden. It really stands out against all the dark green lush plants. I thought when I first saw the photo that it was a window, but then saw the path. Nice!
