In late October a fellow DG person (Thanks WantabeGardener!)sent me these three brug cuttings in exchange for some seeds I offered. I had never tried brugs, so I said okay. I followed her directions carefully when they arrived and planted the stick cuttings in these clear plastic cups (so I could watch the roots grow) and put them on this windowsill under a plant light. Well..they seem to be doing fine! :-) The species are left to right:
Insignis Pink; Dr, Seuss and Jean Pasco. I'm a little baffled why the Dr. Seuss seems to be growing leaves so quickly while the Insignis Pink is still "naked". Do you all think these will remain a manageable size until Spring when I can bring them outdoors. I was advised not to repot them too quickly until they are very rootbound. Any advise? I am very pleased with their progress and hope I will soon be the Mommy of some beautiful flowers like I have seen so many of you post here!
