I went to Bombay Hook, Ocean City area and Blackwater Wildlife Refuge last weekend. It was somewhat disappointing. Lots of Snow Geese (10,000 est.) off in the distance at Bombay Hook. I did see the American Avocets again along with a few other shorebirds. The only birds I saw at Ocean city were Gulls and one Ruddy Turnstone. We saw a few Bald Eagles at Blackwater, a flock of Northern Pintails and out of camera range, I did see a Hudsonian Godwit. The eagles look like they are pairing up already.
