see what i mean about chief being a grummpy old man?!!! lol.. he was biting at gremmy because he was jealouse of my attention to gremmy.....lol, well i have finished my little picket bed borders for my lilies and am planting the stargazers today.. hey have any of u heard of taking some lily scales off the outter part of the bulb and sticking them in a baggie of peat, and them growing baby bulbs on the end of the scale... i have a book on propogation off all sorts of plants and trees , and they say if u do that and store them in a cool dark place they will produce baby bulbs.... i tried it with a few scales that had fallen off during shipping ... its worth a try instead of just throwing them away...
