Jill, we'll all be there in spirit and anxiously awaiting photos. Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates :)

I think I'm certifiably hopeless :( All this wonderful weather and I should be taking advantage of it and getting last minute planting done - but am I? NO! I've tackled an "eyesore" project - cleaning out the basement! Not an eyesore that anyone else can see other than me but I've got a "plan" :) A third of the basement is unfinished and has always been used for storage, i.e. junk! And talk about junk, when Rick's parents moved 9 years ago we inherited a lot of their junk, things Rick just couldn't stand to throw out. Well, in 9 years not once has he even looked at any of that junk, let alone use it! So out it goes - already made two trips to the dumpster and at least one more today :) My "plan"? I'm going to set up a workshop for myself that I can use over the winter for my inside "projects" - painting lawn chairs which are in dire need of a new paint job is probably first on the list but I'm hoping the new space will allow me to experiment with some hypertufa and maybe even a sculpture, or two? LOL Maybe the weather will hold out and I'll still be able to get some planting done this fall but in the meantime I'm having fun cleaning out, organizing and dreaming about my new space :)

Oops almost forgot, saw this yesterday in a magazine and thought my new workshop will have plenty of room for me to work, so maybe another "project" to add to the list? And look, I even found directions to make them! LOL http://www.the-artistic-garden.com/terra-cotta-pot-crafts-po...
