I think I want vinyl white picket fencing instead of painted wood because the painted wood railings on our front porch are high maintenance, especially in the winter with crudy mildew or air pollution (??) settling on it. Have to hand wash it with chlorine beach solution to keep it white. Don't want 200 feet of white fence I have to wash or repaint frequently. Does vinyl fencing perform better than painted wood in humid conditions?

The main problem I see using vinyl fence panels is our entire yard is a slope, up, down and sideways. LOL. Nothing flat. The style fencing I like best is scalloped top and wide pickets but assume that would not look right on a slope; having to drop every 8' panel down another 6 to 10 inches would defeat the scalloped line. My head is spinning with decisions, decisions.

Please tell me about picket fencing on a slope. Anyone with pictures, please show me.
