It's always helpful for me to visualize what it "could" look like before planting :) I collect photos for the plants on my list and "play" with them to give me an idea of what should go where! Some of the trees and shrubs will take a few years to fill in but these "sketches" help me plan on the placement of everything so I make sure everything has enough room. Of course, the unfinished projects from this year will still need work but this will probably be my main project for 2010. If the weather cooperates I might even be able to get started this fall - a few of the plants I plan to use have been sitting in pots waiting for almost a year to get in the ground!
