Seeds to tropical plants should not be saved like those of temperate plants. The longer you wait to plant them, the worse your results will be. Plant all of your tropicals now, so they are big enough to be set outside in the Spring.

Most Bromeliads are epiphytes, and do not grow like the bulk of temperate annuals & perrenials that you have. If you stick them in soil you will kill them.
