we did have a mishap with a canned jar of tomato's that did not seal. i did not originally know they were bad (only canned them last week). poured half the jar into 2 pounds of ground lamb when i realized they were bad. After 10 minutes decided to dump it. We were making two pans one with the lamb and a small hamburger version for mrs. wha. so we just made one big hamburger version.
