seacanepain wrote: Thanks, Susan. Welcome back. If we let Kay off her literary leash, she would write a book on fragrance gardening the size of “War and Peace.” A few days ago, I bought her some night blooming Jessamine and an heirloom rose variety she didn’t have. Been getting the royal treatment since. She actually cooked me breakfast this morening. For my DW that is something. Usually, she will take over the cooking duties around Halloween and do most of it until Mardi Gras. Can’t get her out of the garden long enough to cook the remainder of the year. Had to eat my words though, before I could eat the pancakes. We were talking about the gluten free diet Jacki described. I said we would have to give up pancake breakfast. So, of course, she had to prove me wrong. We had gluten free oatmeal pancakes. They were actually GOOD. Glad to hear that, Carrie. I imagine there is a lot more pressure when you are a Writer (capital W). Think I will stay in the hobbyist, little league. Cando, check out the ladies Virgin Island Christmas tree. Painted tires and aloe vera plants. I think it was just a sneaky way they developed to give away all the extra aloes. Jim |
