In our zone, I don't think they will make it outside, at least thatt's what I've been told. But I had neighbors with huge avocado trees in Ca. My little neighbor probably started hers. She did her little hispanic voodoo on it and had it for years. My Morning Glory tried to grow over her fence and attach it to her tree once. She sprayed it with Round Up on her side of the fence. Pretty bold but I didn't get mad because I would at least think of doing the same thing if it were my avocado tree, lol ;-)
