I love Gardenia but only have one type and have taken lots of cuttings, so now I have fifteen of them around the yard. I even planted some in an area that will soon be my new peacock pens. I may need to protect them but I will be planting several shrubs in and around the pens. Two other shrubs I have planted in the pens are Winter Honeysuckle and Mockorange. Peafowl like plants to hide behind when strangers come around.
