Linda in the white tank with PNWMountaingirl (Sharon) behind her. Mauryhill's (Holly's) son in the back (sorry, I do not know his name altho I can tell you he's a really nice young man!), Lynn is in blue facing him and PNWMontaingirl (Sharon). Mauryhill (Holly) is in red facing Linda and I believe that's Rachierabbie (Rachel) behind her. Rachierabbit's (Rachel's) dad scratching his head in wonderment that we are all still talking about flowers after three days... and Rarejem (Julie) with a huge smile on her face as she realizes the weekend is almost over and she can RELAX! Okay, that's it for my photos. Tillysrat/Mary took tons (and when her camera battery ran out, she commandeered Mauryhill's/Holly's camera), and Rachierabbit/Rachel took quite a few too. There were lots of cameras in action, so I'm sure there will be lots more photos in the days to come. It was an amazing weekend and sooooo much fun. Lynn and Joey were superb hosts, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, their hospitality was such a gift (I now consider the upstairs bedroom mine, so just refer to it as "Gwendalou's Room" from now on); and PNWMountaingirl/Sharon and Rarejem/Julie outdid themselves organizing everything, cooking up and serving salmon they had caught, not to mentioned the most delicious fruit they brought over from eastern Washington. Hands down the best peaches I've ever tasted. It was so fun to see the old friends and meet the new ones, altho some I didn't get to talk to as much as I would have liked. I loved that all the spouses joined in as part of the group and got along so well with each other and everyone else. Holly, I hope your son wasn't too bored. He was delightful and such a good sport! A great weekend. And now I believe I have some planting to do... This message was edited Sep 1, 2009 9:34 AM |
