All in all, I've had a pretty good summer photographing birds. Each year, I hope to see some tanagers since they seem rather scarce. Last month, I was able to get photos of both the Summer Tanager and the Scarlet Tanager. Here are a few photos of the two species.

First is the male Summer Tanager. They have a difficult time hiding among the green vegetation.
