This flower is Fujibotan which holds its flowers VERY high (about 3' or more) and is the only DOUBLE LAVENDER hosta (so far). Glossy solid green leaves.

This is the only night I'm not working at a chamber music concert between July 25 and Aug. 8 when the Festival winds up. I decided not to even attend tonight. I WAS there all day for three short concerts of modern music - working stage end which meant a lot of moving percussion around.
