I too had a seedling with black tip a few years ago. I wiped it out, and many branches came in. It was crowded, but eventually they spread out. The branches eventually became very long. It's this seedling on the right.

I am delighted to have so many branches of this one. It's a very special seedling of Kukiat's called 'Fantasia.'
