The blue sea holly is a little prickly, but nothing compared to thistle!!! I would recommend it, ESP. if you plant it near a veggie garden, as this is one plant that REALLY attracts the pollinators. Esp. the bees.

I will definitely be letting you know about the EEs, Bill. I also have some Alocasia; (2) African Mask, (2) lauterbachiana and (1) Portora. They are an old interest, but never really had success with them until lately.
