Seems most of the flowers that bloom in the heat of summer are small ones. Those in ground are struggling. The ones I've kept potted and watered are delivering scanty blooms. Maybe the smaller bloomers can endure the heat better.

I do have a couple of different Hibiscus finally beginning to bloom. I also have Crinums, cigar plant ~ Cuphea ignea, Angelonia, rock rose ~ Pavonia, hummingbird plants ~ Hamelia patens & Dicliptera suberecta , Angelwing Begonias and a new one for me that is loaded with delicate blooms is the Golden Thryallis. Not showy but pretty...
