Marilyn, that pastel DL looks familiar. Looks like one I just gave to someone that was supposed to be 'Butterfly Garden' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/12274/ , but it looked like yours. It was nice, but not what I wanted.

I have not had slugs eating my DL's. I find them on there sometimes, but I've never seen damage from them. I find snails on them, too, but they don't eat them, either. Do snails eat the same things that slugs eat?
