Hi folks, I'm haven't posted here before. This year a friend of mine dropped off 8 tomato plants at my house even though I told her that I was only growing flowers. Well, I couldn't let them go to waste...the new flower bed in my front lawn became their new home. I figured if they could do it at the White House then I could have a vegetable bed in my front lawn. At first I was a little worried about what the neighbors would say. It turns out that almost all my neighbors have stopped by to say that they love the idea. So, the tomatoes needed friends. Next thing that went in was 10 Cucumber plants for pickles. Basil, Oregano, Rosemary and Sage followed. Next year, I'm planning on adding even more.
