I just hack at them with a knife though I am told that others do it more carefully. Patience is not my long suit. This was a $3.99 "assorted tropical" a mere 2 1/2 years ago. Me thinks it is time for another $1.00 pot run to Lowes as I have several spiders to split and this is not the largest.
