So did I--on my huge "Maya" last year--it was actually end of October. When i cut it back and dug it up--EVERY stem tip was loaded with buds. I had to sacrifice them all.

Do not worry! Just put it in your basement for the winter and next year it will bloom a lot better for you.

In case you did not see me post this picture--here is a flush to beat all flushes on the Maya I clipped back to bare bones--leaving ALl the "Y"'s in place....

It totally dazzled me this Spring!!!!! Look!
