Mom had a very similar one jump in her cart earlier this spring. They are just adorable! Pony, you would have been really jealous if you would have seen all of the taddies and baby salamanders that were in Mom's little pond that morning! It is a tiny little plastic pond shell with landscaping around it, so it stays warmer than the big water features. There were taddies of all sizes and colors, as well as at least 6 salamander babies that were a little over an inch long. We were watching them on a short break, and easily could have stayed there for hours!f Sally, All of my Jap iris are in fairly wet areas...most of my yard is a fairly wet area :). I am not sure how they would do in a drier area...have never tried. I bought a bunch of them several years ago, and they are finally blooming in clumps rather than singles and I am in love with them! This one came out today. |
