We had to take the silkies out of the big pen and make a smaller pen in the big coop for them,the little ones were getting picked on really bad,not the rooster he took right over and let them know that he was boss.If the hens would have fought back a little they would have been ok but they just cowered and the other ones would jump on them and peck them,let them be for over a week and could not stand it any longer so dh made them there own home away from the big ones,so they are inbetween the big ones and the little ones(they are not very little anymore they grow so fast).So there door is on one side of the coop and the other side is the big girls.
