Jumped a covey of 8 while we were walking earlier in the spring. But, development is pushing them out. In the 70's and 80's I used to quail hunt just a mile east of my house.

Here is a humorous pic of one taken at a nearby nature park. It was out in the walking trail when it saw us. Ran under this little piece of foliage and seemed to think it was hidden.
