She poked at it and it still would n't move, she moaned , " I think I killed it" I told her to throw it in the water, she did, it just sort of bobbled.. I told her it was okay, a fish would eat it and she mourned it right away, fished it out of the water, and gave it a little burial right there, and told me I wasn't to tell a soul, that she killed a frog that day.. I told her not to worry, it wouuldn't be the last time she killed a critter either.. she didn't like my reply, told me I was supposed to tell her it wasn't dead, she left its nose out of the dirt so it could breathe, And I am wondering if this child of mine is really going on 21? She went back to Chevy and I looked down.. in the dried up water floor, and what do I find? Morning glorys galore!
