Thanks for the nice words everyone. That storm was scary & we are still cleaning up messes. This whole area looked like a war zone, but sadly - mine was the worst. I have been moving plants like a wild person, just trying to save what I can. Most what I had out front had to be moved because of all the sun I get now. Those hostas are sure to fry if I were to leave them. I know alot of people have them in sun up north, but not down here. It's BLAZING here in the summer. Was 99º today with heat index of 104º. HOT!!! It will be much hotter as we get closer to August.

We are still waiting on the fence people & roof has been fixed. All is well at this point. We are just wokring day by day to get things back in order.
It will never be the same though with my big ol Maple tree gone. :( Sure do miss that shade already!!!

Here is what else the storm sent us. Poor thing must not have had anywhere to go except for my open carport. It found comfort in all the junk we have in there.
Of course I had to feed it, little thing is tiny. Love those blue eyes!!
