Fortunately, the blooms are still large and beautiful and for the most part able to be pollinated. But how sad, huh? Compare these to the ones I grew in amended soil along the tall privacy fence and it is a night and day difference. These vines still WOW me with their strength and determination to survive. And the blooms never cease to delight me!
