It is so fun to see things blooming in other parts of the world...especially those whose seasons are far ahead of ours! Sally, Very sorry to hear about your BIL. Sounds like your sis has taken a beating emotionally over the last year...it's good that she has some decent support. I laughed out loud regarding your river surprise! Your lollypop lily is very nice. Redchic, I adore your echinecia! I purchased one of the first oranges that they had out and it disapeared the first year (thinking slugs). Have wanted to replace it ever since, and seeing yours reinforced it. Your rhodie is really nice as well! I love the plants whose new growth is such a pleasant contrast from the older foilage! Bea, Your delphiniums make me SO jealous. Mine just get munched, so I have given up on them....but I still fight myself every time I walk past one of the lovely blooming ones in the garden centers! Your cat face is awesome! Judi, Fortunately, there are some lamium varieties that stay manageable and they are quite pretty. I too have the unruley kind, so I get shivers myself when I think about it! My roses that didn't get severely damaged by the cold this winter are starting to come out. This is Playboy...one of my very favorite roses, and that is saying a lot as I grow so many. |
