These planters already have a nice sized drainage hole, but I cut out 3 more in each of the planters. The planters that I potted up last year all did fine, I need to take pics of them so I can compare their progress. I only had one hosta not thrive, but it was a pretty crappy TC'd plug when I got it; so I was sort of expecting it to not make it through the winter...but it did...it's just super puny.
