Bill, I am not sure of the paeonia .... It could very well be Kansas, if that is a REALLY common one from the 50's, as I am not sure this one came from great grand-mom's garden.

Does Kansas often show up less then overly double? Some of mine seem sort of light on petals, while others are fairly full. I have to say, I think I always see the yellow stamens in mine.

The color seems about right.

I am liking all those alliums a lot, Patti!!

Here is a bad shot of the paeonias, but it shows how different the amount of petals can be.
