Murdock's in cheerful spirits last night. He leaves everything in God's Hands, and accepted His will.
Last night, a DGer dmailed me saying we are wont to pray for our loved ones OUT of heaven, but His will is what we should pray for.
She is so right.
Yep, we are selfish aren't we, wanting to hold on to our loved ones a little longer. But I'm not giving up, as this man still has so much to offer in this life.

This morning, they'll do a "Bronchoscopy", where a bronchoscope with a tool at the end, will be inserted through his nose, and that tool will remove some tissues. Doc said that the tumor is a large mass.
Apparently, this has formed over the last 2 years, as he had a pt scan done 3 years ago on his lungs, and they were clear.

A little bit about "Dock" (That's what his great nephews call him).
He's 68. Had a stroke 4 years ago. He has limited mobility.
His past was quite colorful. He was caught 'moonshining' and spent a year in jail in the late 50's. Imagine, decades later, he became a deacon. Miracles happen!
Unfortunately he didn't quit smoking until 5 years ago.
Not nagging here. Quit for your health.

This is him.. so you all will know who you'll be praying for.
He thank you for being so willing to pray for a stranger... and all the hugs. He got this big grin on his face after that.
Let me say something else about him.. ehem.. he is also a big flirt! Of the harmless kind!!!!

Well ladies.. time for us to make a move. Will be at the hospital this morning and hope to return for lunch.
