Looks like those of you down in Oregon got hit worse than we did with the storm. Wind blew like crazy, and it rained for about 5 minutes....then it was over at my house. Am pretty happy it is a little cooler today though...the baby plants didn't like being thrown from 60 to 90 degrees so quickly!

Judi, I fibbed to you in my post above about where I got the iris...I edited it now, but figured I would make a note for anyone who had read it and didn't go back....the iris came from Cooley's Iris gardens...their $3 spring/summer sale. Too good to pass up!

Bea, Just awesome pics! That poppy is too cool! I also can't believe your pic of your unknown iris..the texture in the picture is awesome! It makes the edges of the petals look almost like they are highlighted!

Mom, Very nice! I really like the primula/JM combo!

Sally, So on the tipsy pots, the rebar goes through the hole in the pot...you put the pot at the level/area you want it to be, and then tip it to hold it there? Or is there come kind of stop/bracket at each pot? I really love the look!

So a couple of new iris started for me this morning despite the cooler weather. This is Saratoga Sunset.
