But, if I could just sneak in one more Memorial Day photo? This one made our local TV station's scroll. It's my granddaughter, Taelar, pausing to read the gravestone of a veteran. She was very impressed this year with the true meaning of Memorial Day, or Decoration Day, as it was once called. She joined the other children of the town when they all went to the cemetery to place flowers.
