Good to know about the lupines... I don't feel so bad anymore... Karen the daylilies are all growing... can't wait for them to bloom... I know they will bloom! didn't loose any so far!

Louise, Abraham Darby is a David Austin rose. Mine is not a climber - it has big and fat roses... smells wonderful and the bush actually grows 5ft tall... last year mine had 2 long canes, but this year all the canes are about the same height and it has a nice shape. I have one rose Isabel Renaissance that is supposed to be 4 ft tall, but I have one cane that is at least 8 ft tall and I had to make a loop so it would not break. So I don't doubt that yours could be AD... this is a pic from last year.
