Well, I made it home yesterday too. Had a delay at the airport for liftoff but only about a half hour late.

I told Dusty about our get together next year and she will be so happy to join us....at MY house!!! LOL, guess hers will be off limits. Bertie, whom you will meet, will open her house too, and we should hopefully have enough horizontal spaces for all who need them. If not, there is a motel less than a mile down the road.

I walked the kingdom when I got home (that's my new saying and I stole it from BJ's husband, Don, who walks his kingdom every morning) and there was a baby black-capped chickadee on the ground hopping. When I saw it, I heard mama screaming at me, so I quickly left in the opposite direction. Last year at the other house we were honored to sit and view the training lesson mama gave baby in the mimosa tree. Because we were on the porch and sitting quietly, she did not mind us there, but she wanted nothing of me standing only 3 feet from her little one yesterday. I hope all went according to plan.

I have some planting and tons of weeding to do today. I was itching to get my fingers in dirt at Brenda's, but other than pulling a few weeds, I kept them to myself.
