We talked to him about having some tree pruning done for us and as we continued to walk through the gardens I showed him my idea for the stream. I really want to do most of the work myself but he's interested in getting it started for me by doing the heavy, grunt work - digging, etc. AND, he and his crew collect "mountain rocks" for their projects and said it would be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a pallet from the local supplier! BUT, the best news? When I asked him what he charges for his work, he grinned and said I think we can work something out :) He and his girlfriend are looking for a lot of Hostas for their landscape and he's willing to work out some sort of trade!!! So...maybe by the time everyone's able to visit next year I'll have a new endless stream to show you :)
