Well, the little guy I am currently calling "Peanut" is warm and dry... feathers fluffed.. finally. He is taking nectar for the moment. I have spoken with a rescue 1200 miles away and have found the best food locally to feed until I find an appropriate rescue to take him. The pet store is going to give me the food I need for him. It is for lorikeets. A diet that includes protein instead of the sugar water nectar. He is sleeping and wakes about every 30 to 45 minutes hungry.
