There are Canada geese and Mallard ducks that live here and raise their young. We have a resident blue heron that I think nests near a creek that runs into the lake. What's interested are the migrators. We've had quite a variety of other duck species passing thru. We don't have any kind of watercraft, but folks have kayaks, canoes and paddleboats. (no motorboats allowed). There are fish. I've always loved being by the water. It's small water, but water none-the-less. Here's a shot when we were building our cottage garden across the back of the lot.
