I live in the Florida panhandle, which is listed as zone 8b, and would love to home-grow currants and gooseberries.

Jung See offers bareroot currants/gooseberries online and states the plants are suitable for zones 2-8. However, every online plant guide I have looked at lists them for zones 2-7.

Does anyone have experience with growing these wonderful berries in warmer climates? Any advice?
