He is gorgeous! Beahive the eggs might be getting washed downstream. The frogs generally prefer still water along the banks to lay their eggs, and sticks to attach them to. Is this a live stream or something you created like mine? Don't give up hope. I haven't found any pollies with legs or feet yet either. Sigh.
Turtles are red eared sliders and they burrow into the muck at the bottom of the pond during the cold. Dad said that they slept through the winter. Even here they disappear in the cold months and only reappear when it gets warmer. They are native to Oklahoma and here in CA. At least I think they are. I know my Grandpa always had some around when I was growing up, but those were tortoises. (land not water turtles). Sending a photo of Skippy (he's the big un on the center left of photo, and the lil un, which is center on the right.) and the Turtle I sang into being. (I know I'm strange but it was strange!) Lucky to get them both in one photo, out sunning at the same time.
Skippy was given to me when he was only the size of a quarter. I was really happy when he got to live outside. I think he likes it better too.
