My first year with the Purple milkweed (I just looked it up and it's said to be native to Texas). I'm hoping these little guys will take it easy on the hostplants so I'll have seeds for the following years. lol. BTW; birds and Lizards garlore out there in the garden, so I brought one of my Mexican MW indoor along with those 'lil ones today to keep them from harm. Here is one of those green gardener pals probing up high, I'm unsure if he was looking for cats. or hummingbirds? That said, my catalpa's leaves has chewing holes on them. I'd get these boogers of the plants if they're after my fish-bait caterpillars. lol. |
