I also had a great experience herding a mother Mallard and her NINE! baby ducklings across a local street. I have 3 kids, I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with 9.

I decided to share a picture I took last winter of a Saw Whet Owl that was wintering in a nearby cemetary. This was one of the cutest little things I've ever seen.
