At first she pruned them in formal fashion like you would boxwoods, but ligustrum grows so fast, it was being trimmed every 2 mo. She finally gave up and let them grown like trees. They are about 5-6 ft tall and she only trims the bottoms a little bit so pets can walk thru it.
