This photo was taken 2 weeks ago. There were supposed to be alternating groups of a pale tangerine colored Hyacinth called Gipsy Queen in between the Jan Boss Hyacinths. Out of a bag of 50 bulbs, not cheap ones, only 2 formed stalks. The rest stayed on the ground and you could see the flower, but it would not rise.

Do you think I got carried away with these King Alfred Daffs???? I've divided them twice already. They are 24" tall & stand straight up. I want to add the Siberian Beauty Blue squill behind the golden crocus and find some other Hyacinth to use. Any suggestions?
