As far as climbing rose the post (before the last) above have mentioned of some. But JeanneTX has some gorgeous climbing roses if you'd check hers out.

Here is 'Cecile Brunner' heirlooms climbing rose. These are very floriferous and can cover large arbor in a short time. (requires some training for tidy looks, shaping down long canes) They bloom on previous year growth, so avoid pruning in the beginning of the season. One deficit; it only bloom once in early spring. That's the reason I added other climbers to keep the arbor colorful year round. :-) (Oh, zonal speakig, I can only speak for my zone 7'ish, don't know how these will perform up North).
