I finally took the plunge today and bought a BOP at Lowes. Unfortunately, because they don't have anything other than "Tropical Foliage" on the tag, I don't know what variety I have, but suspect it's a white bird. My short term plan is to park it by my pond to help reduce sun exposure to the pond and algae growth (until my lilies take over more). It has a few "trunks" in the pot, but I'm hesitant to divide and repot without advice from those of you with more experience than I. I'm not as worried about it flowering right now, and it does look rather cramped in the pot (so much so that when I mentioned it to the person at Lowes, they took an additional $10 off the pricetag). I'll attach a couple pictures if that assists in identifying its actual variety and any care recommendations.

As an FYI, it's about 7 feet tall if that matters at all.
