Yes, Marion, the Paducah show does draw the international crowd. It is an amazing show, and miles and miles of people. It is worth it, though, because probably the best quilts are shown there from everywhere. I spent a lot of time with a woman from Great Britain, she was with a group that had originated in Germany. They came as a group to Nashville, about 100 miles south of us, and the 2 day trip to Paducah was part of their tour. There are many quilters who come from Japan, too, but it is hard to understand them. The town of Paducah is not very large, so every hotel, motel, bed and breakfast, private home, is filled with quilters for the entire week. I don't try to even shop while they are here. Melody and I left early, but even so, it was crowded, and the exhibit space is huge.

I think I must be at least 2 inches shorter today, I walked so much.
