Some varieties can get down right silly as far as the cost. they will go to zone 5 to zone 6 depending on the cultivar. I will say if you have the room to do it I would try a few. A god crop, perticularly the thread leaf weeping and the ones that stay red through the year. I did manage to get a few of my orangeola's to sprout. its going to be neat to see what they become. I don't know if you are thinking of growing some just for giggles? Rd maples are another good tree. I really do like them. I spotted some new seeds on my norway maple so Its going to be fun harvesting the propellars. weeeee I hope to be back on arround 2:00ish with info.... ttfn Dave |
